things i hate

when football teams get their heads all big when theyre winning and stop playing good
and
when you get that anxiety thats so bad you start shaking and you cant breathe.

these things arent my friends.

This weekend

I went to hollywood for the first time in a looong time.
and i went to go see wicked
it was very, very good.
i see why everyone is always making such a big deal about it.
buttt i still find myself being a critic, even to things that blow my mind, like wicked did.

i just couldnt help myself to hear how off some of the singing was and thinking that the lovely gah-linda was a little too annoying for my taste.

but all in all i loved the story.
ive never been to one of those musical things before.
pretty cool experience :)

Grounded

All week!
This is lame sauce
I mean its break..
after this im getting a stupid job.
this is my last chance of freedom!
grrrrr.

any boredom day fillers you suggest?
let me know.

Ughh

Wake up
open presents
go eat breakfast at Dennys
watch the dark knight
have some family come over
eat a hearty meal
start blogging about my day so i dont fail publishing.

Today was really just wonderful.
Really.

I dont know why i feel so lousy.

Merry Christmas

Christmas Eve

Began with a lovely morning in San Diego, watching Family Guy with my best friend Ashley Marie Macho.
I almost didnt anticipate my grandparents coming to get me at all.
But soon enough the doorbell rang and I dragged my feet out of Ashley's humongous, beautiful home and into a silver Toyota Forerunner (i dont even know if thats spelled right).
On the way home I stopped by my friend Kevin's house cause the wonderful guy that he is got me a present. It was the Dark Knight! Loooove it! I felt really bad that I didnt have money to get him something.
Then I went home and hugged the 'rents cause i hadnt seen them in three days. I dont think they missed me that much this time.
I went to my friend Alexa's house to wish her a merry christmas and give her my gift, which wasnt they greatest but it was something.
Then my family and I piled into the car and enjoyed our legs cramping up during the 3 hour detour to Riverside.
Man, oh, man am i grateful for my Nino's family. Every christmas eve i spend with them I have such a great time.
Our tradition is a little different.
We started out with the most delicious homemade meal I've ever had. Tamales, rice and beans. Ohh myy it was heaven on a plate!
Then we all sat in a circle and passed around the polar express, each taking a turn reading.
Then we sang christmas carols, sounding a little goofy cause some didnt know they words and some were already drunk..
Then santa came! (*cough* my cousin Matt dressed in a costume)
Santa gave me some nice jeans for christmas.
After Santa came, we had to leave cause we had a long ride home.
When i got home i passed out on the couch (cause my grandparents were on my bed)
Santa was really, really loud.

San Diego

The place I call home :)

Every time I need to clear my head, I know where to go.
I seem to be the only one who thinks this place is absolutely beautiful and the coolest place I've ever lived.

All I need is baking cakes, watching Friends, and writing random songs about eating pie to get a real smile on my face.

Let's get this party started rightttt!

Yesterday is history,

Tomorrow is a mystery
but today is a gift.
(that's why it's called the present)

Im watching Kung Fu Panda with my bro and I really liked this little "quote" the weird turtle guy said.

Anyways, everytime I hear it, it gets me thinking. 'Cause in a way I kinda don't get it.

Yesterday is history.
Soo forget it right?
I mean don't forget it..but don't dwell?
Cause it's gone.
Just learn and move on.
Am I right?
I have trouble with this concept. Everyone is always saying "No regrets". And if asked if you would go back in time, your answer is no.
Pshh, BS.
C'mon guys, I'm not lyin. If someone came up to me with a real deal time machine, I'd jump right in. We all wanna go back an re-live stuff. Don't even lie...
No. But seriously..I'm having MAJOR issues with the whole "Don't regret" deal. I'm trying though..

Tomorrow is a mystery.
I'm deathly afraid.
One year and 26 days and im 18.
And i'm an adult..I dont want to be an adult. I dont want to be responsible.
I am so very, very scared for the future. I can't even look into it. I can't even plan it!
I mean, the thought of me off at college, living on my own, dealing with my own money and then graduating and having a career and then getting married and having kids...it's scary. I don't know if it's easy for you to think about it, and if it is your gonna have to tell me how you do it. Cause I can't.

Today is a gift
I guess you can kind of guess that i agree with this considering that last little rant..
well, today is a gift. a very weird weathered gift. and this is me right now..typing this...
..
.
i dont really know where to go from that =p
but i do know that i really need to catch up on my other homework.

have a good night =p

Here's what I really said:

Ok, so your walking down the hall and…oh no! You forgot to tell your mom it's a minimum day and you need to be picked up early! You reach into your pocket to get your phone and start dialing numbers when…*dun dun dun*…a big bad security guard comes and snatches your phone away. You cry and you cry while the security guard walks away…
I have to confess that things aren't THAT dramatic when it comes to getting caught breaking the rules. But I can understand how it can be scary. Security guards are tough cookies. Crying and pleading does not work and of course you think you're the innocent victim in all this.

And for some cases I would have to agree. For example: false accusation. Sophomore Journey Wright says, "Sometimes when I'm walking down a hall a security guard stops me and asks me if I'm under the influence. I can't help it if my eyes are a little red in the morning!" I personally think that it's wrong to assume someone of doing anything. And harassing students at dances for having gum in their mouth? Sophomore Savannah Webster says, "At the Aloha dance they yelled at me for having gum and started asking me all these lame questions about what I did that night. But I didn't know that "no gum" was a rule. And I always chew gum, even when my breath doesn't smell bad."

C'mon Mister, you didn't have to attack the poor girl! She just didn't want to have bad breath for that cute boy she's hoping to dance with. And I don't want to talk down on our students but, honestly, why would we go to a school function if we had access to alcohol? Think about it.

Alright, alright I know you guys are just here to discipline because us high school kids are such animals. I mean, take Allison Lang for example. She came to school with a halter tank top on that left her shoulders bare! Crazy right? Wrong. Miss Lang says "I came to school early for my zero period and I was ALREADY getting in trouble. I wanted to look really cute that day and I figured maybe a tank top would be a great way to keep cool since summer had just ended and it was still 90 degrees out. But I guess it didn't look that cute after all." I'm sorry, but that just makes me sad. It was 7 o clock in the morning and the girl was wearing a tank top that didn't reveal anything but the top of her back and her shoulders. What's it to you?

Don't. Even. Get. Me. Started. About. The. Phone. Policy.

Teachers and staff, you remember what it's like to be a teenager. Once we're told what not to do, it only makes us want to do it more. Who's to say how many of us probably will? You do the math.

High school is a place where you grow and (hopefully) mature over the years. Personally kids, I don't feel like I'm growing up at all because I'm still being told what not to do, what not to wear, and what not to bring to school. End of discussion. Have a nice day!

What have you done lately?

YouDontKnowMe invites you to SocialVibe.com :
Hey guys!
Guess what?
I have found a new way to make a difference.
Most of you have probably already heard of Social Vibe.
It's a site where you earn "points" and then those points are turned into money that goes to a certain cause.
You can choose your own cause and your own sponsor and you earn points by doing things as simple as logging on, putting up photos, taking personality surveys, and telling your friends about it.
Causes include organizations like To Write Love On Her Arms (the cause I chose, if you were wondering), Invisible Children, and PETA.
There are sponsors like Volcom, Hello Kitty, Converse (my sponsor), and sooo many more.
I've only been on social vibe for a week and I already have 780 points. My cause has only achieved 14% of it's goal and has raised about $19, 000.
C'mon guys, I know your'e always on the internet already! You might as well make a difference while you're at it.
It's free and probably the easiest thing in the world.
I'd tell you a lot more but you're just gonna have to sign up and see
:)

Oh, and by the way
Could I sound any more like a commercial?
Jeeeez.
=p

I'm a little frustrated.

I usually have a million things running through my mind that are perfect for blogging, but lately it's like my brain has become a clean slate.
I cannot concentrate whatsoever!
>=[

Well, anyways. I'm typing this because I'm extremely bored in my Broadcasting ROP class at stupid Marina (where I so happen to NOT know anyone).

Feel free to tell me how to set my profile up.
I'm not really sure if it's supposed a kind of "myspace" thing but more interesting?
Just let me know.
'Cause, personally, I think my blog looks a little dull.
I should brighten it up with some of my lovely, opinionated rants soon.

Toodles!
:)
